Road Closure Expect Delays

Maple Avenue Retaining Wall Rehabilitation Project

Beginning Wednesday April 9th, there will be daily lane closures on Maple Avenue between Glen Avenue and Harding Plaza. A contractor will be repairing both of the railroad trestle's retaining walls. This project will be ongoing for approximately 6 weeks, occurring every day between the hours of 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. 

Please plan an alternate route during this time.

  

 

2014 Resident Commuter Parking Permits

Resident Commuter Parking Permits are now available by US mail.  Applicants may still obtain a permit at Police HQ, but only during limited hours.

Please follow all instruction printed on the form.

Parking on the street, or in the municipal lots (metered, resident commuter or shopper, etc.) is prohibited between the hours of 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. In the event of an overnight guest, disabled vehicle or other similar circumstance, permission for a one night exemption may be granted by calling (201) 652-3800 and following the voice prompts to speak with a dispatcher about overnight parking. 

NOTE: In the event of snow, when roads may need to be sanded or plowed, there will be no overnight exemptions allowed.
